The bill (Reg. No. 3041) suggests prohibit activity aimed at artificial change of the state of atmosphere and atmospheric phenomena with economic purposes by amending article 16 of the Law “On Protection of Atmospheric Air”. It is suggested impose criminal liability for violation of the order of performing activity aimed at artificial change of the state of atmosphere and atmospheric phenomena by excluding article 78-1 from the Code of Ukraine on administrative Infringements and by introducing a new article 241-1 to the Criminal Code.  

It was noted that the Central Scientific Experts Office of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Secretariat expressed several remarks to the bill.

Authors of the bill informed Committee members of the decision to recall the bill in order to refine it.
